Nurse

We are currently recruiting for a qualified Nurse to work in our purpose built inpatient Detox facility in Bradford West Yorkshire on a Permanent, full time basis. The role involves working a rolling shift pattern comprising of 12.5 hour shifts: two Days, followed by two Nights followed by 5 days off.

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire – To start ASAP.

The post holder will assist in supporting the centre manager and Lead Nurse in Running the detox facility and will need to be a registered Nurse with previous substance misuse experience.

Duties to include

  • Deputising in the absence of the centre manager.
  • Providing support and supervision of staff – ensuring consistency of service.
  • Maintaining admissions at a level that meets or exceeds targets.
  • Ensuring the clinic complies with relevant legislation and codes of practice.
  • Providing reports and anticipating in meetings.

Essential requirements

  • Registered Nurse (preferably RMN) registered with the NMC.
  • Substantial experience in substance misuse or related field, providing direct client services.
  • Experience working with behavioural changes associated with substance misuse.
  • Understanding key principles of 12 step, Motivational interviewing and CBT.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work a shift pattern.
  • Lives within in a commutable distance of the service (up to 45 mins), or plans to relocate to area.

Job Type: Full-time – Salary £25,783.00 to £27,000 /year
